Newest Fleet One technology maximizes fuel savings
NASHVILLE -- Space on smartphones has just gotten more valuable as another industry supplier announced the development of an “app” or smartphone application.
Fuel card and fleet management solutions provider Fleet One LLC, Nashville, announced the new, free “Fleet One Local Sites” app for iPhone and Android that aids in fleet management and maximizes fuel savings. A card provider for commercial fleets with fuel cards, Fleet One added that an app for BlackBerry is coming soon.
The new app for Fleet One customers enables cardholders to find the lowest-priced fuel sites within their immediate proximity with a single tap on their smartphone.
In addition to ease of use for the best in savings, customers also will be able to filter search results for preferred products and even use GPS-enabled routing to lead the way,” said Matt Lattin, Fleet One vice president of product management. “This new app is even more relevant in today’s economy considering today’s fuel prices. Plus, it’s more important than ever to provide our customers with services that help them run more efficiently.”
The Fleet One Local Sites app allows the customer to search all Fleet One-accepting sites and their retail fuel prices. All the customer has to do is go to App Store or Android Market and download the Fleet One Local Sites app.
