Gas Station TV Names Executive VP of Operations

Deichler is petroleum ops, marketing vet

DETROIT -- Gas Station TV (GSTV) has appointed Bill Deichler to executive vice president of operations. Deichler is responsible for day-to-day management of the network including product and content development and field operations.

With a career spanning 27 years, including 24 years in petroleum operations and marketing, Deichler brings considerable experience in planning, implementing and operating public- and private-sector programs to GSTV. His 13 years of management experience include overseeing petroleum regulatory affairs as well as designing [image-nocss] and managing U.S. government international programs.

Prior to arriving at GSTV, Deichler served as manager of retail fuel operations at Murphy Oil USA, designing and directing the fuel supply program for the Murphy USA/Wal-Mart joint venture. Later, as business development manager, Deichler created a new nontraditional profit stream for the retail chain.

GSTV is an IP-based digital TV network offering ABC programming; local news, sports, weather and traffic; original content; and advertising. GSTV also carries Amber Alerts and select PSAs as part of its programming. Content, programmed for a highly desirable, captive audience on the network, can be specifically tailored to geography and time of day. GSTV is aligned with ABC National Television Sales, a division of the Walt Disney Co., which provides exclusive national sales representation for the network featuring select ABC content.

GSTV has also formed partnerships with Murphy Oil USA Inc., part of the growing U.S. market of gasoline sales at nontraditional locations with more than 900 stations located in Wal-Mart parking lots; Gilbarco, a major provider of retail fueling equipment and technology; and Delphi Display Systems, which offers outdoor digital video display systems.
