GasAmerica Signs Deal with Nexxus

Will provide scan-based trading programs for retailer's newspaper category
GREENFIELD, Ind.-- GasAmerica has signed an agreement to make Nexxus Group the exclusive provider of scan-based trading programs for its newspaper category. Nexxus Group will provide the systems and customer service for GasAmerica convenience stores.

The program begins on August 29, 2011.

"We are honored that we have been chosen to manage this category, and look forward to growing together with GasAmerica," said Nexxus Group president and CEO Jim Rao.

Nexxus Group program solutions allow retailers category visibility via scan based trading and centralized payment [image-nocss] platforms with one point of contact for direct store delivered vendors, eliminating cash payments, consolidating accounts payable while delivering the best in customer service.

The company is headquartered in Danvers, Mass.

Greenfield, Ind.-based GasAmerica was founded in 1916 by Herbert White, who opened the first White Petroleum store in Shirley, Ind. In 1983, White Petroleum became GasAmerica, and it began an expansion from 27 stores to its current network of 86 c-stores and truckstops in Ohio and Indiana.
