Hutchinson is sales manager, Retail Systems. He will support Gilbarco's strategic accounts in creating and executing contracts for Gilbarco's Retail Solutions product lines on a national basis. He was previously employed at Retalix, where he was responsible for supply chain software solutions sales to food distributors in U.S. and Canadian markets.

Krieble is sales manager, Retail Systems, responsible for the sale of Passport POS and other Retail Solutions products in the northcentral United States. He was previously employed by Sharp Electronics, where he was responsible for hospitality software applications sales.

In other company news, Greensboro, N.C.-based Gilbarco has certified the Reward Link, part of the Reward Marketplace suite of products and services, from Excentus Corp., Irving, Texas, for use with the Gilbarco Passport POS system with Version 6 software.

Passport Version 6 software features Gilbarco's fully integrated, generic, loyalty program interface that simplifies integration and enables retailers to choose providers like Excentus.

The Excentus Reward Marketplace program rewards consumers for in-store purchases with free or discounted fuel. When customers swipe their loyalty cards at the dispenser, the display will show the cents off per gallon available. After the customer selects a payment type at the dispenser, the price per gallon on each fuel grade will roll back to the discounted price and allow the customer to fuel to the configured gallon fill limit. The dispenser will print a receipt showing the customer the amount saved.

Also, Gilbarco's Express Ordering system has won KioskCom's Self Service Excellence Award in the category of Best Food Service Deployment. The awards honor innovation in self-service business solutions and interactive digital media. The winning application, installed at Buc-ees, included foodservice ordering kiosks at the fuel island and inside the stores, a kitchen management system, and Enterprise Director system for management from the head office. Buc-ees Ltd., Lake Jackson, Texas, operates 30 convenience stores.

The Express Ordering system empowers customers with control of their ordering experience. Customers get exactly what they want, faster than ever. The return on investment for retailers includes increased sales through consistent upselling and merchandising, improved efficiency of staff, reduction in order entry errors and waste and faster production time.

Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Gasboy are major suppliers of integrated fuel control, site management and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.
