Rotten Robbie partnering with OpenStore by GasBuddy on app, website

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Rotten Robbie, an independent private-brand operator of 34 fueling stations and convenience stores throughout the San Francisco Bay area, has rolled out a new app and website with the help of OpenStore by GasBuddy.

In today's on-the-go environment, customers want easy access to up-to-date gas prices, coupons, deal alerts sent to mobile phones, promotions sent via social media, quick access to give feedback, and more reasons to check out a local Rotten Robbie location.

"The c-store industry is shifting to accommodate the on-the-go customer with mobile coupons, quick alerts to phones, and creating numerous portals to communicate and build loyalty with customers" said Tom Robinson, president of Robinson Oil Corp. "We look forward to enhancing the Rotten Robbie presence by partnering with OpenStore by GasBuddy to continue to provide more value to our customers."

Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore by GasBuddy, said, "Connecting with customers is key to gaining loyal and satisfied customers. Rotten Robbie realizes the significance of tapping into the technology that their customers like to use. OpenStore is a complete turnkey social technology solution that will support Rotten Robbie's strategies to reach their customers with targeted marketing and powerful messaging."

Minneapolis-based OpenStore by GasBuddy is a solution that increases customer loyalty by providing two-way communication between c-store owners and customers using web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard makes it easy to collect customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and text message campaigns, all from one single location. OpenStore makes a brand and a c-store stronger and more aligned with social media by gaining loyalty from customers.

Rotten Robbie is owned and operated by Robinson Oil, a fourth-generation family business with headquarters located in Santa Clara, Calif.
