GPM Selects TNS Services for 194 Sites

Service streamlines in-store networking, data flow

MECHANICSVILLE, Va. -- GPM Investments LLC has selected Transaction Network Services (TNS) to provide the FusionPoint solution for its 194 Fas Mart and Shore Stop convenience stores across the mid-Atlantic region. FusionPoint is a managed service that streamlines in-store networking and enables data from diverse store applications to flow through a single high-speed broadband connection to a variety of endpoints.

Barry Khrosrophanah, vice president of information technology for GPM Investments, said, "We have been a TNS customer since 2005…. The main benefit for our stores is the [image-nocss] faster transaction processing times we are able to get through the broadband connection as opposed to a dial-up connection, allowing business to run quickly and smoothly."

By taking advantage of FusionPoint, Fas Mart and Shore Stop not only simplify store communications, but can also rely on the security and performance of the TNS PCI-DSS certified network and 24x7x365 helpdesk services with live real-time support. TNS also provides all necessary network components and communications hardware essential for this application, according to Alan Schwartz, executive vice president of North America sales at TNS.
