Hess Selects e-Builder for Expansion

Will manage station development, renovation

NEW YORK -- Hess Corp. has selected e-Builder's web-based solution to manage its new gas station and retail development projects, plus station refurbishing across the East Coast.

Hess has more than 1,350 retail marketing facilities serving customers in 14 states from Massachusetts to Florida. As the company continues to expand its network of Hess Express convenience stores, e-Builder will serve as the project management and collaboration hub for the construction of new stations and the renovation of existing ones.

The deal allows [image-nocss] Hess to manage the entitlement, planning, design and construction phases of its new gas and retail stations, as well as existing station renovations online with the e-Builder solution. The online tool lets Hess significantly reduce the time needed to complete these construction and renovation projects by enabling a streamlined communication and collaboration process, e-Builder said.

New York City-based Hess is a major global independent energy company, engaged in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas, as well as in refining and in marketing refined petroleum products, natural gas, and electricity.

Fort Lauderdale, Fla.-based e-Builder develops project management and collaboration software focused on the needs of the construction industry during all phases of real estate development, construction and operations.
