The lottery feed is available for iPhone, Android and Blackberry users, said OpenStore by GasBuddy, the provider of the app. It is supported by lotteries in the following states in which Kangaroo Express operates: Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

The mobile app displays the winning numbers of local and national lotteries, such as Mega Millions and Powerball, as soon as they are reported by the state.

Kangaroo Express customers can also enjoy entertainment on-the-go with two new interactive games added to the mobile app, including "Spin & Win," a slot machine game and "Koffee Krush," giving customers a chance to "Krush" Kangaroo Express' Bean Street Coffee beans.

"Offering the mobile app is just one more way that Kangaroo Express can help add convenience to the lives of our on-the-go guests," said Drew Piland, digital marketing manager for Kangaroo Express. "Since the app launched, guests are able to find their nearest Kangaroo Express store, view in-store deals and offers and even access exclusive savings. Adding lottery feeds and free games will only add to that convenience."

OpenStore by GasBuddy increases customer loyalty by providing two-way communication between convenience store owners and customers using leading-edge web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard makes it easy to collect customer feedback, manage social media and deliver mobile coupons and text message campaigns all from one location.

Based in Cary, N.C., The Pantry is a leading independently operated convenience store chain in the southeastern United States and one of the largest independently operated c-store chains in the country.
