Key Innovations Locks up Key Distributor

TASQ to resell KSD9000
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Following the North American launch of its new KSD9000 multimedia payment terminal, Key Innovations Ltd. announced an agreement with the U.S. distribution and payment technology services company TASQ Technology Inc, a Rocklin, Calif.-based subsidiary of First Data, where TASQ will resell and distribute the KSD9000.

"We wanted a distribution partner who shared our vision about the potential offered by this new generation of unattended payment terminals," said Peter Jarvis, president of Key Innovations. "We found that unique combination of vision, innovation [image-nocss] and essential technical expertise within the TASQ organization."

Key Innovations multimedia technology provides kiosk functionality in a secure and visually dynamic payment terminal. Retailers can run interactive, high-quality audio-video promotions directly at the point-of-payment. This is achieved by providing merchants with new tools to create and upload media content to either an individual terminal, a regional network or a global network of terminals.

The digitally signed media content is securely uploaded, monitored and managed within a hardened, terminal resident kernel. The KSD9000 will deliver audio-visual presentations and promotions in department stores, filling stations, ticketing, vending, car parking, public transport and other public access applications.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Key Innovations Ltd. provides consultancy services, applications software, software developments and electronic product development capability to the payment technology industry.
