Lettieri's Looks to IRM for BI

C-store foodservice provider boosts business intelligence

SHAKOPEE, Minn. -- Branded foodservice concept Lettieri's Inc. has chosen IRM Corp.'s Discovery by IRM to serve as its new business intelligence (BI) solution.

Lettieri's supplies a variety of products such as breakfast sandwiches, stuffed baguettes, calzones, gourmet sandwiches, stuffed breadsticks and several sausage products wrapped in bread called Wrap-Dogs.

IRM's technology is geared toward taking static business data and turning it into actionable business intelligence. Currently used by nearly 200 food and beverage manufacturers and distributors, IRM's flagship Discovery [image-nocss] system offers business intelligence, forecasting, promotion management and analytics.

Dallas-based IRM provides both on-demand and on-premise business intelligence, forecasting and trade promotion management solutions to manufacturers, distributors and brokers in the food, beverage and CPG industry, delivered in a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model.

Headquartered in Shakopee, Minn., Lettieri's operates as a 100% USDA facility with an onsite inspection staff surveying all facets of production. All products are scrutinized under strictly defined guidelines to ensure product integrity and overall quality. In 2004, it opened a state-of-the-art production and R&D facility in Shakopee. The new plant is a nearly 60,000-square-foot facility, equipped with a research & development kitchen.

Sioux Falls, S.D.-based Hot Stuff Foods franchises or licenses its branded food concepts including Hot Stuff Foods, SmashHits Deli and Hot Stuff Food On the Go in more than 1,400 locations throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. Hot Stuff Foods also offers Lettieri's Food To Go through distributors across the United States. Offering portable, high-quality products, both companies now feature established breakfast, lunch and roller grill solutions. The Lettieri's Food To Go kiosk complements this offering, providing a foodservice system for smaller c-stores with minimal space requirements and low startup costs.

Lettieri's customers include a wide variety of businesses including most petroleum companies, several vending companies, and other foodservice outlets. In addition, Lettieri's products are currently represented in more than 40,000 convenience stores throughout the United States.
