RESTON, Va. -- In separate deals, Lincoln Oil and Brabham Oil Co. Inc. have selected Transaction Network Services Inc. (TNS) to provide cohesive network transaction solutions for their retail locations.
Lincoln Oil, based in Greenville, S.C., and will implement the FusionPoint by TNS solution to provide network connectivity and data communications services for credit and debit card authorizations, tank monitoring and back office enterprise applications.
FusionPoint by TNS is a data communications solution that enables all technical [image-nocss] applications in a convenience store to flow through one broadband pipe, simplifying the connectivity and delivering significant savings in time and maintenance costs. TNS provides a fully managed network with 24/7 customer service and support.
FusionPoint by TNS will enable Lincoln Oil to achieve greater speed, control and accuracy of their transaction data, said Heidi Goff, executive vice president and general manager of TNS' POS division. This will allow Lincoln Oil to provide even better service to their customers by reducing the wait time associated with credit and debit card transactions. In addition, Lincoln Oil will increase operational efficiency with real time tank monitoring and the use of enterprise software.
Brabham Oil, based in Bamberg, S.C., will also implement the FusionPoint by TNS solution. It will use it to provide network connectivity and data communications services for credit and debit card authorizations, ATM authorizations, tank monitoring, Voice over IP and back office enterprise applications.
Brabham Oil will increase operational efficiency with real-time tank monitoring and the use of enterprise software as well as reducing costs by eliminating telephone lines, said Goff.
With more than 30 locations across South Carolina, Brabham Oil owns the Horizon private-label gasoline brand for use at its EZ Shop locations, as well as customer locations it supplies.
