MAPCO Express Selects Odysii Suggestive-Selling Platform

Will roll out at more than 100 points-of-sale in May

BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- MAPCO Express Inc. has selected Odysii Inc.'s marketing intelligence platform, Match N' Go, to support its suggestive-selling initiatives. With an initial group of MAPCO stores already installed and operational, the company expects the solution to be installed at more than 100 points of sale this month.

"Every transaction represents a new opportunity to create an optimal shopping experience for our customers. With the Odysii Platform, MAPCO Express has an opportunity to take suggestive selling to the next level through direct, one-on-one product marketing at the point of sale. We believe that our ability to improve awareness surrounding the products, services and promotions that we offer should benefit our performance," said Igal Zamir, president of MAPCO Express.

"We are excited about working with the MAPCO team. As part of this implementation, we'll be introducing the Odysii-on-Tablet this year, enabling even more customer engagement and interaction. We strongly believe technology will help improve traditional suggestive selling and be instrumental in increasing same store sales," said Elad Halperin, vice president of marketing for Odysii.

"In today's competitive and challenging market, convenience retailers need to take every opportunity to effectively engage their customers at the point-of-purchase," Halperin added. "Odysii's Match N' Go solution positively impacts business performance by analyzing customer purchases in real time, offering targeted suggestions for additional sales based on relevant analytics, and engaging customers with an intuitive, timely, and effective manner to purchase additional products."
