Merica Joins DM2 Software

Becomes newest professional services consultant

VANCOUVER, Wash. -- DM2 Software Inc. recently announced that Suzanne Merica has joined its professional services consulting team. As a DM2 professional service consultant, Merica will be responsible for working with new and existing DM2 customers on project planning and management, system implementations and training.

Merica brings more than 25 years of petroleum distribution industry and software implementation experience to DM2. She got her start in the industry in 1985 working for a Shell jobber. Until her departure in 1999, she worked with wholesale operations, cardlock and inventory management and held positions ranging from IT manager to controller. Prior to joining DM2, Merica spent the last 11 years as a consultant implementing software solutions for the petroleum marketing and convenience store industry at Advantage Energy Software and FireStream.

With the addition of Merica, DM2 Software's professional service team has more than 200 years of combined experience working with petroleum marketers, it said. This experience, along with the extensive training they receive from DM2 and Sage Software, provides them with the expertise to tailor DM2's Petroleum Insights system to meet petroleum marketers' unique business needs.

Vancouver, Wash.-based DM2, a Sage Software Master Developer & Reseller since 1991, uses Sage MAS 90 and MAS 200, ERP (enterprise resource planning) systems designed for general wholesale distribution applications to develop, sell and support Petroleum Insights, a fully integrated backoffice/ERP system designed specifically for petroleum marketers. DM2's Petroleum Insights system offers core financials, fuel, lubricants, home heat/propane, cardlock, convenience store, supply chain automation, advanced business analytics, customer relationship management, fixed assets, paperless office and e-commerce modules.
