Mid Pac, Cumberland Farms, Maverik, Wilson Fuel Take PDI Honors
Tech firm names winners of 'Doing Business Electronically' customer awards
SAN ANTONIO, Texas -- From San Antonio, Texas, the site of its 2011 Users Conference, PDI has announced the winners of its first Doing Business Electronically customer awards. The company recognized convenience retailers and wholesale petroleum marketers who have shown innovation and creativity in using its flagship product, PDI/Enterprise.
The nomination process began several months ago and culminated with more than 70 submissions across five categories. First place companies included Mid Pac Petroleum for automation, Cumberland Farms for forms usage, and Maverik for SSRS report creation. Wilson Fuel topped the list of contenders in two categories--integration and environmental stewardship.
In all, PDI selected 16 companies whose creative practices saved their businesses time and money, improved decision-making, and reduced paper processes.

The Doing Business Electronically awards also recognized the top users on PDI Connections, the company's online customer portal. First, second, and third place companies for each award category received iPads and a commemoration plaque.

PDI presented the awards at its annual customer training conference, which kicked off on September 11 at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, Texas. The winners were among 115 companies operating more than 17,000 locations that attended the four-day technology gathering.
