Miller Oil, Schmuckal Oil Sign on With KSS Fuels
New PriceNet Cloud clients adopting cloud-based solutions
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Miller Oil Co. and Schmuckal Oil Co. have joined the list of KSS Fuels roster of clients for its cloud-based fuels pricing solution, PriceNet Cloud. The product is designed for fuel retailers looking to lower ownership costs and enhance application-related services by eliminating the investment in computer hardware and related maintenance costs, the technology company said.
PriceNet Cloud provides the same pricing capabilities as its on-premise version, enabling fuel retailers to react fast to market and competitor changes and to apply advanced analytics to enhance decision-making.
"Moving to a cloud-based version of PriceNet will enable us to see immediate cost savings and will give us the opportunity to benefit from a broader range of services from KSS Fuels," said Jeff Miller, president and CEO of Norfolk, Va.-based Miller Oil, which has 132 locations in Virginia and Florida.
"As well as reducing our IT-related costs, using PriceNet Cloud means we always have the benefit of a high performance computing platform ensuring our infrastructure doesn't delay getting fuel prices out to the street," said Dave Waldron, vice president of operations at Traverse City, Mich.-based Schmuckal Oil, which has 28 locations in Michigan.
"We're delighted to see more clients adopting our PriceNet Cloud solution," said Bob Stein, president and CEO of KSS Fuels. "The twin benefits of lower ownership costs and value-adding business services available through the cloud continue to attract fuel retailers of all sizes to seriously evaluate a move to cloud."
