NACS Launches Mobile App for The Tech Event

Attendees can organize schedule, locate suppliers, receive alerts, more

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- NACS has launched a new mobile app specifically for the upcoming The Tech Event conference, which will take place May 6 to 10 in Dallas. The app is designed to help attendees easily navigate the event and is compatible with most smartphone and tablet devices.

The Tech Event is a new conference that combines two major convenience store industry technology events--NACStech and the PCATS Winter Meeting--to deliver technology education, information and solutions on topics including "Big Data," HTML5, data security, mobile payments and the future of technology innovation.

Complete information on the conference is available at www.thetechevent.com.

The Tech Event also features a Supplier Exchange, where convenience and fuel retailers have the ability to connect with the technology solution providers in a casual and more flexible setting. Suppliers have the opportunity to feature the very latest technology, systems, processes and tools to help retailers achieve their goals.

By using the app, attendees can organize their schedule by adding sessions and events to the "My Schedule" feature, locate Supplier Exchange participants, receive real-time alerts, search event speaker bios and connect with peers through the "Attendees" feature.

To download the mobile app, search for The Tech Event in the App Store (iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch) or Google Play (Android platforms).

Founded in 1961 as the National Association of Convenience Stores, NACS is the international association for convenience and fuel retailing. NACS has 2,100 retail and 1,600 supplier member companies, which do business in nearly 50 countries.
