RedPrairie appoints Kyle Bowker executive vice president of Americas

ALPHARETTA, Ga. -- RedPrairie Corp., a supply-chain and retail-technology provider, recently announced the appointment of Kyle Bowker to the position of executive vice president of Americas. In this role, Bowker will be responsible for RedPrairie's sales, services and field operations across the Americas region, reporting to Joe Juliano, RedPrairie's president.

Bowker comes to the Alpharetta, Ga.-based RedPrairie with more than 25 years of experience in the enterprise software and technology industries. Most recently, he served as vice president and managing director for the Americas region of Progress Software, Bedford, Mass., responsible for all sales, pre-sales, alliances and consulting-services leadership.

Before joining Progress, Bowker was senior vice president of global field operations for Allegro Development, Dallas. Before that, he was president and chief executive officer of Nextance Inc., Austin, Texas, a provider of enterprise contract management solutions to the Fortune 1000. Bowker has also held executive leadership positions at PeopleSoft, Pleasanton, Calif.; Informatica, Redwood City, Calif.; and SAP, Newton Square, Pa., where he worked for eight years in multiple positions, culminating in his appointment to senior vice president and general manager of the manufacturing sector of SAP America in 1999.
