nFinanSe Signs Sobie

Firm names VP of retail sales

BRADENTON, Fla. -- nFinanSe Inc. said that Karen P. Sobie has joined the company as vice president of retail sales with responsibility for the retail distribution channel, including sales initiatives, store implementation, personnel and retail-related customer relationships.

Karen's unique retail experience, industry knowledge and excellent reputation in the electronic payments industry will be an asset to our sales organization, said Jerry Uffner, nFinanSe's senior vice president of sales.

Prior to joining nFinanSe, Sobie was [image-nocss] a sales director for Ingenico's Financial Systems Group, a global point-of-sale (POS) terminal manufacturer, where she was responsible for market share in the retail prepaid industry. She has also held sales and management positions with VeriFone and Sun Microsystems, targeting retailers in a wide variety of channels.

Bradenton, Fla.-based nFinanSe is a financial services company and provider of stored-value and prepaid card solutions that has developed the nFinanSe Network, a secure POS and PC-based software platform that connects retail merchants with multiple stored-value prepaid card processors and issuing banks. nFinanSe owns and operates the nFinanSe Network as a standardized, national network of stored-value and prepaid card cash load stations located throughout the United States.
