SCOTTS BLUFF, Neb. The Panhandle Cooperative Association has installed POSA Tech Inc. terminals in all of its grocery, convenience store and pharmacy locations, offering multiple processing services and products.
We arerunning credit/debit cards, check services, prepaid, custom gift cards and age verification on our Verifone 3750 terminals, said Doug Pfeiffer, CEO of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., a provider of prepaid programs, gift and loyalty and merchant service transaction processing. Not only were we able to offer all of these processing services to our [image-nocss] client in a bundled turnkey solution, but additionally, all services are operating on an IP connection, he added.
Scotts Bluff, Neb.-based Panhandle Coop has installed the POSA Tech programs in locations throughout western Nebraska, eastern Wyoming and northeastern Colorado.
This is an excellent point-of-sale opportunity said Panhandle Coop marketing director Susan Wiedeman.
Panhandle Coop did $96 million in sales last year, with more than 20,000 active members. It has three major divisions: Retail, Energy and Crop Production.
We offer our customers a one-stop shop program where they can choose from numerous processing services and only have to deal with one company. Additionally, there is no need to place multiple terminals, as our processing solutions can be placed on one system, said Pfeiffer.
