MARIETTA, Ohio -- Par Mar Oil Corp. has purchased Positive Networks channel partner Next10's PositivePRO hosted VPN service.
Par Mar Oil, Marietta, Ohio, owns and operates more than 40 convenience stores in Ohio, Kentucky and West Virginia. With only one IT person to support these stores, Par Mar Oil needed a secure and reliable way to connect its point-of-sales (POS) systems to corporate data resources. The retailer asked Next10 for assistance in finding a solution that addressed these needs.

By leveraging Positive Networks' online sales tools and software as a service model, partners avoid carrying inventory and having to manage complex onsite installations, the company said. Other benefits of the program include differentiating security offerings and earning recurring revenue.
