Mel Roth Oil, Hiway Express choose provider for electronic invoices

HAZEN, N.D. -- Mel Roth Oil Co. Inc. and Hiway Express gas station have both opted to use the provider SmartPay for electronic bill presentment and payment, officials have announced.

The SmartPay system will allow the companies to send invoices to customers electronically, while in turn, allowing customers to pay their balance online.

The Hazen, N.D.-based companies have been providing oil, lubricant and auto services to the people of Mercer County for more than 40 years. Mel Roth Oil and Hiway Express distribute gasoline and diesel fuels, as well as providing auto repair and services to customers. The repair shop does engine tune-ups and oil changes, as well as more complicated repairs. The company also provides tires and towing, as well.

With all of these services, the companies would rather spend those extra hours working with clients and customers face-to-face instead of creating and sending invoices. Creating, sending and receiving invoices are done electronically through the SmartPay system. Employees at Mel Roth Oil and Hiway Express will then have more time to spend on customer service and experience.

Based in San Rafael, Calif., SmartPay is an enterprise-level online billing system designed to save businesses time and money. It's a cloud-based electronic bill presentment and payment solution suitable for medium to large businesses. It allows an increase in cash flow by sending large batches of invoices and statements electronically.
