Pinnacle, Corporate Safe Specialists Ink Partnership Deal

Widens range of POS safe integrations

ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Pinnacle Corp. has forged a partnership with Corporate Safe Specialists (CSS), a major supplier of safes to the U.S. retail and restaurant communities. Pinnacle's Palm POS interfaces with several of CSS's safe and cash control systems.

The partnership will be exhibited at the upcoming NACS Show in Las Vegas in October. CSS will display some of its devices integrated to Pinnacle's POS system in the demonstration area of the Petroleum Convenience Alliance for Technology Standards (PCATS) Lounge.

CSS's full [image-nocss] turnkey closed-loop cash management solution includes the new Compusafe 3000 Series by Brink's Inc., along with CSS's Advanced Cash Control System cash management software.

Our goal is to align ourselves with the leading POS company that is both Windows-based and PCATS compliant, said James Currey, national sales manager for CSS. By combining these elements, Pinnacle, CSS, and Brink's are able to provide an intelligent safe solution in a full closed-loop cash management environment. Finally, there is an innovative, secure way to handle cash at the store level with the added benefit of real-time reporting.

Drew Mize, Pinnacle's vice president of retail solutions, said, By integrating our solutions, we expand the range of safe and related offerings available for our Palm POS clients.

Last year, Palm POS attained a conformance validation certificate from PCATS. Palm POS now complies with the PCATS-NAXML POS Back Office Interface Standard and is capable of producing XML instance documents that conform to the use cases as defined by PCATS.

From training to PLU input to scanning, Palm POS's touchscreen makes every task fast and easy. Palm POS interfaces to a variety of devices including pole displays, security cameras, lottery and voice confirmation.

In addition to a full line of fireproof, burglarproof and electronic safes, Posen, Ill.-based Corproate Safe Specialists is a pioneer in kiosks designed for specialty retailers along with other loss-prevention products.

Dallas-based Brink's offers secure logistics solutions, providing armored car transportation, ATM servicing, currency and coin processing, secure data solutions, document destruction and other services to banks, retailers and other commercial and governmental agencies.

Arlington, Texas-based Pinnacle provides automation technology to the convenience store and petroleum industries. It delivers products that automate c-store operations and supply chain management of fuel operations.
