Pinnacle Names Mize President

Johnson to continue as CEO, chairman

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Convenience-store and petroleum-retail technology provider, The Pinnacle Corp., announced the promotion of its current chief operating officer (COO), Drew Mize, to the role of president.

Mize, 44, brings 21 years of experience providing software-technology solutions to the convenience retail and petroleum market. Mize served as COO at Pinnacle since 2012. Prior to that, he was vice president of product management and marketing since 2008 and vice president of retail solutions when he joined the company in 2005.

Johnson, Pinnacle’s founder, president and CEO since 1990, will continue in the roles of CEO and chairman of the board. “Bob will remain as present and active as he has been in the last 26 years, as he is retaining his positions as CEO and chairman of the board,” Mize told CSP Daily News. “From an operations perspective, my role has grown to include all areas of the business, a challenge I’m both honored and excited about as I look forward to leading Pinnacle into the feature with these expanded responsibilities."
