Synchronizing fuel price changes at POS, pump, price signs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. & GREENSBORO, N.C. -- PriceAdvantage, a division of Skyline Products, has announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Gilbarco Inc. to synchronize fuel price changes from the store to the street by combining the ease of use of the Gilbarco Passport point-of-sale (POS) system with the automated pricing capabilities of the PriceAdvantage fuel price management solution.

By working together, PriceAdvantage and Gilbarco will accelerate the implementation of fuel price changes from the POS to the pump and electronic price signs, resulting in increased profits and reduced human error all while optimizing existing technology.

Headquarters can change prices at the store, automatically updating the POS, pump and electronic price sign through PriceAdvantage's one-click technology. Store managers, without stepping outside the store, can implement price changes sent from PriceAdvantage to the Gilbarco Passport POS, pumps and electronic price sign, eliminating the risk of possible out-of-sync pricing.
