QuickChek Debuting Mobile Ordering

Says customer feedback places high importance on ‘quality food, speedily delivered’

WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Convenience-store retailer QuickChek Corp. has announced that customers can now place food orders in advance through their smartphones.

QuickChek sub mobile ordering

Beginning March 14, customers can order freshly prepared breakfast menu items and custom-made subs and salads through the QuickChek mobile app. They can pick up orders at any of the chain’s 142 locations throughout New Jersey, New York’s Hudson Valley and Long Island.

Customers can order between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. and select their choice of pick-up time. The stores will prepare the orders to coincide with the pick-up time, ensuring freshness and correct temperatures.

“Our new mobile ordering enables us to provide even greater convenience for our on-the-go customers,” said QuickChek CEO Dean Durling. “We feel this new service will add to the experience our customers enjoy as they can now customize their meal exactly as they like it without waiting on line.”

He said, “Customers have told us that quality food, speedily delivered by friendly team members, is of the utmost importance.”

Durling also noted that consumers have been receiving coupons and messages on the company’s latest deals and promotions through the convenience-store chain’s app for the past year, allowing them to save money daily.

To place a mobile order, customers download the QuickChek app at www.quickchek.com or from the App Store if you’re using an iPhone or Google Play for an Android. They open the app, enable location services and tap the Place Mobile Order button. Then they select the nearest QuickChek convenience store or enter the ZIP code of the QuickChek store where they want to place the order from, and then start the order.

Upon entering the store, customers can pick up their mobile order at the designated area, select any other items they wish to purchase, pay and be quickly on their way.

This is the latest innovation from the Whitehouse Station, N.J.-based company, a market leader in foodservice with a fresh coffee and fresh-food program that features touch-screen technology allowing consumers to create custom-made, oven-toasted subs, sandwiches, wraps and salads. Consumers have voted the company’s coffee the best in America in a national survey conducted by food consulting firm Technomic.
