Quik Data Update Focuses on Performance Tracking

System aims to streamline manager check-ins

COLONIAL HEIGHTS, Va. -- The latest version of BandyWorks' Quik Data, a store-performance application for convenience stores, includes new tools to assist in performance tracking. Specifically, the program includes a new dashboard that provides a virtual daily walk-through for store managers, helping them to know the status of the store’s performance and identify critical to-do items.

The application uses its scorecard to provide real-time access to results. The results have same-store comparisons, so managers can track performance goals. The application allows staff a single place to log all work and let the system track it. All critical store operations are on one screen, and the urgent items are flagged for everyone to see.

The update automates shift duties, customer surveys, site audits and site maintenance. “The site maintenance alone will save my district managers dozens of calls and hours of wasted time every week—if not every day," said Lance Eslyn, regional manager of Campbell Oil Co., Elizabethtown, N.C., who has used the new software. "We are moving fast and we do not have time to waste checking to see if a job is done. Our store managers log it and our support team and partners resolve the problems.”

“The Quik Data architecture was built specifically to deliver fast and actionable insights to c-stores," said Tom Bandy, CEO, BandyWorks. "There is so much data and work each day. Our job is to find the important trends and eliminate wasted effort. This big new release is the culmination of years of research and development with our clients to understand exactly what they need and what is noise to be eliminated.”

Colonial Heights, Va.-based BandyWorks aims to improve c-store performance with its Quik Data dashboard. BandyWorks defines store performance not as back-office functions that track headquarter financial data, but work done in the store that directly impacts the customer experience, sales and profits. Quik Data has integration capabilities with existing back-office systems, though one is not required to run the Quik Data dashboard.
