Retailer seeking to increase speed of service, enhance marketing initiatives
ATLANTA -- RaceTrac Petroleum Inc. has signed a new agreement with Radiant Systems Inc. to implement Radiant's c-store hardware and software solution.

"Radiant technology will help us provide a better guest experience through improved speed of service and will support current and future marketing initiatives," said Will Alexander, vice president of information systems and special projects at RaceTrac. "We were initially drawn to Radiant because of the strength of their reputation and stability of their solution, and were pleased to discover that the structure of their maintenance [image-nocss] and service plans aligns perfectly with our corporate technology and growth objectives."

The combination of Radiant Point of Sale (RPOS) and above-store configuration software, Tiger Fuel Controllers, and P1560 POS terminals gives RaceTrac the tools it needs to manage sites remotely, facilitate new promotional campaigns, and get customers in and out of stores quickly and securely. Radiant's open and flexible solution will enable RaceTrac to grow its business in the future through new and innovative retail concepts and marketing strategies.

"RaceTrac's upcoming implementation will exemplify Radiant's ability to provide products and services that work together to drive efficiency and profit growth in c-store operations," said Jimmy Frangis, vice president of the petroleum and convenience retail division at Radiant Systems.
