Platform helps control spending, secure best products, curb fraudulent payments
ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Road Ranger LLC, a leading Midwest retail petroleum convenience store chain, has licensed Osiris Innovations Group's OS Catalog along with OS Procura. Osiris is a provider of e-business solutions, supplier enablement applications and procurement services.

With the OS Procura procurement engine, Road Ranger can manage and control all aspects of its multi-facility procurement process. Road Ranger's supply chain will be able to take advantage of the benefits of OS RAM. This application impacts the supply chain side of the e-procurement process including electronic [image-nocss] purchase order receipt, ship notices, invoicing and payment processing.

"The Osiris purchasing solution provides a powerful platform to control spending, mitigate erroneous and fraudulent payments and secure the best products available from a vast offering of pooled items from competitive and reputable vendors," David Saporta, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Rockford, Ill.-based Road Ranger.

"With OS Procura, Road Ranger can completely standardize and automate its procure-to-pay-to-reconcile process, ultimately reducing its processing costs, improving efficiencies and supporting reporting and compliance," said David Saroli, chief executive officer of privately held Osiris, headquartered in Auburn Hills, Mich.

Road Ranger operates 87 c-store and truckstop locations in seven states.
