RTO, Targeted Solutions Join Forces

Convenience, foodservice vets team up to deliver Web-based training
PLYMOUTH, Mass. -- Ready Training Online and Targeted Solutions have announced a new partnership to bring online training services to the convenience store industry.

Tom Hart, founder and CEO of Targeted Solutions, a consulting firm for the convenience channel, said, "Our industry is changing at a rapid pace. I am thrilled to join forces with RTO, the leading online training company, to provide customized online solutions. We'll offer businesses large and small a cost-effective program so they can develop consistent training, communicate new policies and information and [image-nocss] exchange ideas with their employees and managers."

For the past five years, Ready Training Online (RTO), an Elizabethtown, Pa.-based company, has harnessed the power of the Web to become a leading force in online training for companies. Its experts offer standard courses on essential training topics including sexual harassment and diversity/violence in the workplace and custom courses specific to businesses of all sizes so they can share information, goals, ideas and objectives with employees and managers, either locally or globally.

RTO is a full-service online training company. It offers computer programming, Internet delivery of multimedia, audio and video production, content development, scripting and voice talent. President and CEO Jeff Kahler had more than 20 years of experience in the pizza business. He owned and operated a successful chain of pizza shops when he founded RTO in 2004.

Targeted Solutions is a consulting company dedicated to providing a wide range of management services to the c-store channel. Based in Plymouth, Mass., it collaborates with companies as a team and specializes in developing solutions in high-return areas of opportunity. Founder and CEO Tom Hart started his career as a stock clerk in Buffalo, New York, and worked his way up to serving as chief operating officer of Store 24 in New England. He was recently the president of New England Convenience Store Association (NECSA) and has served on its board of directors since 1998. And he was inducted into the NECSA Hall of Fame in 2006. He has been a past speaker at the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), NECSA, the New York Association of Convenience Stores (NYACS) and the CSP Executive Leadership Forum.
