Sheetz Awards PCI Upgrade to Gilbarco Veeder-Root

Firm will manage enhancement program for 270 locations
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root will be managing the program to upgrade more than 2000 dispensers at 270 Sheetz Inc. retail sites with Gilbarco FlexPay Encrypting PIN Pads. The hardware is Payment Card Industry Encrypting PIN Pad (PCI EPP) compliant. It provides Triple Data Encryption Standard (TDES) encryption of the Personal Identification Numbers (PIN) entered by consumers during debit card transactions at the pumps.

It is critical to our brand to provide the best possible protection for our customers' transaction data and preserve their option to use debit."

Gilbarco Veeder-Root Project Management Services brings a network of more than 500 Authorized Service Contractors and more than 3,500 trained technicians to complete upgrades under the direction of experienced Gilbarco project managers, offering standard work instructions, site surveys, order and schedule management, reporting and 24/7/365 technical support.
