SJ Fuel Chooses iRely for Integrated Software Solution

Will implement new software package to manage fuel delivery service at two locations

BROOKLYN, N.Y. -- SJ Fuel Co. Inc. recently formed a partnership with iRely LLC, a leading developer of petroleum distribution software, to implement a full enterprise software solution for its petroleum distribution services.

SJ Fuel in Brooklyn, N.Y., and SJ Fuel South in Barrington, N.J., will both implement the new software to manage their fuel delivery service. Family owned and operated since founded in 1935, SJ Fuel's two locations supply quality fuel oils, diesel and gasoline, natural gas and electricity to customers throughout New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.

"We are very excited to work with SJ Fuel and help them enhance their already impressive operation," Brian Kay, petroleum business unit leader at iRely, said. "By bringing all of their business data under one platform, this new automated software solution will eliminate tedious manual tasks and give employees time to benefit the company elsewhere."

iRely's petroleum solution integrates all of SJ Fuel's operations into one platform, eliminating redundancies and improving overall efficiency. The implementation will provide SJ Fuel with iRely's direct delivery system, dashboard technology and financial software, which includes accounting, tax reporting, inventory, general ledger, accounts payable and accounts management programs.

"These software upgrades will be a great benefit to both our employees and customers," Jayne Johnston, Vice President of SJ Fuel South, said. "Having the new pricing and financial software will reduce hours of manual calculations and allow employees to focus on other beneficial initiatives."

As part of the partnership, SJ Fuel will take part in iRely's Keystone Design Course, a step-by-step program designed to properly plan a smooth software transition. iRely will work with SJ fuel executives to develop an implementation strategy and ensure all parties are focused on the same success factors.
