Stripes Selects Nexxus Group

Texas-based chain will implement program in all of its stores

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -- Stripes LLC, a subsidiary of Susser Holdings Corp., has selected Nexxus Group as its partner to manage scan-based trading programs at all Stripes convenience store locations. Stripes currently operates 539 c-store locations in Texas, New Mexico and Oklahoma.

Nexxus Group will provide the systems and customer service for all stores.

The program will commence on October 24, 2011, the Danvers, Mass.-based company said.

"We are extremely proud to partner with Stripes" said Jim Rao, president and CEO of Nexxus Group. "Stripes has an excellent [image-nocss] reputation, and we are honored that they have chosen Nexxus Group for this initiative."

Nexxus Group program solutions allow retailers category visibility via scan-based trading and centralized payment platforms with one point of contact for direct store delivered vendors, eliminating cash payments, consolidating accounts payable while delivering customer service.

Corpus Christi, Texas-based Susser Holdings is a third-generation, family-led business under the Stripes banner. Restaurant service is available in more than 315 of its stores, primarily under the proprietary Laredo Taco Co. brand. The company also supplies branded motor fuel to more than 435 independent dealers through its wholesale fuel division.
