LAS VEGAS -- Terrible Herbst named PDI as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) software provider, having been a customer of The Pinnacle Corporation since 2003.
Terrible Herbst is the first of more than 100 of Arlington, Texas-based Pinnacle’s clients due to change providers since PDI acquired Pinnacle’s ERP assets in January. The chain started the migration process earlier this month.
“Our decision to make the switch to PDI was really driven by their ability to reduce our software footprint and allow us to manage every part of our operation with a single solution,” said Matt Osa, vice president of operations for Terrible Herbst.
The retailer will use several options in Temple, Texas-based PDI’s Enterprise product suite, including its retail store and home office, pricebook, lottery and financial modules. The software provider’s tools will be used to improve productivity and efficiency across the remainder of the retailer’s convenience and petroleum business lines.
Las Vegas-based Terrible Herbst is made up of 41 car washes, 20 oil change and smog locations and more than 110 convenience stores. All Terrible Herbst units sell gasoline, and most stores sell beer and wine. Stores are open 24 hours a day.
PDI provides enterprise software and solutions to convenience retailers and wholesale petroleum marketers. More than 500 companies worldwide use PDI’s software for retail automation, business intelligence, financial reporting, workforce management and end-to-end fuel supply chain management, including logistics.
