Veeder-Root Names Maybee President

Comes from company's vapor recovery business unit

SIMSBURY, Conn. -- Mark Maybee became president of Veeder-Root on June 1, 2011, the company has announced. Maybee's appointment supports Veeder-Root's commitment to providing solutions that improve the operations and profitability of retail and commercial fueling operations worldwide.

Maybee most recently served as the vice president of the vapor recovery business unit at Veeder-Root. In this role, he built a strong organization and developed a global vapor recovery strategy. He joined Danaher in the Danaher Motion business in 2004. During his tenure at Danaher Motion, he [image-nocss] held positions of increasing general management responsibility culminating with his appointment to vice president and general manager of the linear actuator business unit.

Maybee is based in Veeder-Root's Simsbury, Conn., headquarters.
