Alta Convenience/Pester Marketing Group

Alta Convenience stores are famous for selling all-natural, hormone-free Farm Crest milk in returnable bottles, which is popular with customers and a competitive advantage for the chain. The company has also introduced private-label burritos, bagged candy and a line of sandwiches.

World Fuel Services purchased 100% of the equity securities of Pester Marketing Co. and its wholly owned subsidiaries, Alta Fuels LLC and Alta Transportation LLC. Operations include two terminals and distribution of biofuels and lubricants to wholesale, commercial and agricultural customers. The company also transports motor fuels to certain Pester retail stores and to the wholesale, commercial and agricultural customers it supplies.

Pester Marketing received the rights to the Farm Crest brand in 2006 and continues to market with it as a sub-brand supporting Farm Crest all-natural milk in a reusable/returnable milk bottle.
