Customer service and clean, customer-friendly locations are what set the 73 Moto Mart convenience stores apart from their competitors. Their target customers are males and females between 16 and 55 years old. Mostly rural, the chain is looking to attract more customers, and more females. With that in mind, new stores have dark wood cabinetry, flat-panel TVs, skylights in the fuel canopy and solid-core countertops. All new stores will follow the same blueprint. The chain has also done "extreme makeover" remodels, replacing all floors, countertops, shelving, lighting and inside cases and dispensers.
Moto Mart's top categories are cigarettes, smokeless tobacco, fountain and groceries, followed by foodservice and liquor.
