G&M Oil Co. Inc. was founded in California in 1969 with George A. Pearson as the sole stockholder and today operates 148 stores throughout Southern California. Most locations are branded Chevron and Extra Mile. The company has 99 Chevron Extra Mile sites, 36 G&M Food Marts with Chevron fuel and 13 G&M Food Marts with G&M-branded fuel. The chain remodeled five sites in 2015 and added E85 at 13 sites, in partnership with Pearson Fuels. G&M Oil continues to look for expansion opportunities in the Southern California area.

G&M and OpenStore by GasBuddy debuted the G&M Mobile App in spring 2015, along with a redesigned website for its gas-station and convenience-store customers. The app offers consumers deals and coupons, real-time gas prices, station locators and store information. The G&M Mobile App is free to download and available for Android, Blackberry and iPhone devices. Customers without smartphones can receive Mobile G&M deal alerts by entering their mobile numbers online.
