The Syracuse, N.Y.-based Petr-All Petroleum Corp. owns and operates 71 Express Mart convenience stores, with four additional franchises, all located in upstate New York and all selling fuel. Most are branded Sunoco, some fly the Mobil brand and a few are unbranded. Eighteen of the stores feature a car wash. Total stores include a site that was rebuilt and reopened in 2015.
More than a dozen Express Mart locations are co-branded with McDonald's, Subway, Papa John's and Tim Hortons.
The first store was opened in 1989. The target market is the suburban family and worker, who have the need for a quick stop for gas and/or a snack or grocery item. The stores pride themselves on offering "Around the Clock Convenience," a slogan they are known for.
Founded in 1975, Petr-All Petroleum also supplies and distributes gasoline and diesel fuel.
Express Mart hopes to grow its presence in the Northeast United States and is looking for sites.
