Owned and operated by a hands-on family team, Sheetz surpasses many convenience stores with its levels of efficiencies in foodservice, distribution and technology. Sheetz has revenues of about $6 billion from more than 460 locations. The company, which grew out of a single dairy store that founder Bob Sheetz purchased from his father in 1952, has become one of the convenience store industry’s premier operators.
Long known as an innovator, Sheetz strives to “create a business that will put Sheetz, as we know it today, out of business,” according to company literature. The company’s Creation and Reinvention initiative helps spawn new retail and restaurant concepts. Sheetz has more than 15,000 employees working at stores, corporate offices and support sites.
Sheetz participated in the 10th annual CSP/Service Intelligence Mystery Shop in 2014. Click here to see Sheetz's mystery-shop report card.
