In a major announcement since the NACS convention, Altria announced plans to remove its MarkTen Elite and Apex by MarkTen pod-based vaping products until they “receive a market order from the FDA or the youth issue is otherwise addressed,” the company said.

New Products: Cigars and FDA Rules

Premier Manufacturing Inc., Chesterfield, Mo., featured a new-to-the-U.S. line—Belmore premium, hand-rolled cigars—among other products.

Fontem Ventures, Charlotte, N.C., announced at the NACS Show that it would launch tobacco and mint flavors for its closed-system, pod-based myblu-branded vaping devices in 2019, the company said.
