Girl Scout cookies have been around for generations, but the treats only recently morphed into a coffee indulgence. In February, Dunkin’ Donuts partnered with the Girl Scouts of the USA to release three limited-time coffee flavors: Thin Mints, Coconut Caramel and Peanut Butter Cookie, the latter being the chain’s first coffee flavor featuring peanut butter. The launch, which began Feb. 26 and ran through May, arrived in time for National Girl Scout Cookie Weekend, Feb. 23-25. Participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations also had local troops selling cookies in stores through March 18.
