2021 Beverage Report: Off-Premise Promise

Beverage sales grew in convenience stores in 2020—particularly driven by alcohol—but the channel lost a share of the market. In 2019, 32% of nonalcohol beverage sales went through c-stores, says Larry Levin of IRI, but in 2020 that number dropped to just over 29%.
