Carl’s Jr. and Hardee’s cereal-themed LTO aimed to remind consumers of Saturday mornings spent watching cartoons. The brands’ Froot Loops Mini Donuts come in red, blue, green, purple and yellow colors, just like the Kellogg’s product. “We know today’s consumers are craving nostalgia, and Froot Loops Mini Donuts feature flavors that will bring them back to their childhood and introduce a little extra fun at snack time,” said Jeff Jenkins, chief marketing officer of the CKE Restaurant Holdings concepts.
