7-Eleven is the exclusive carrier of Watermelon Lime, a new flavor from hydration beverage company Electrolit.

The scientifically formulated flavor, available for a limited time, “combines the tangy zest of lime with the nostalgic summer taste of watermelon,” Electrolit said.

Electrolit hydration beverages are made with pharmaceutical-grade ingredients, the Houston-based company said. Watermelon Lime joins Electrolit’s 15-flavor portfolio, in addition to five Zero Sugar options and ready-to-mix electrolyte hydration sachets.

Each 21-ounce serving contains 326 milligrams of electrolytes and real glucose, a natural energy source that enhances the body’s recovery from dehydration, the company said.

“Scientifically formulated with magnesium, sodium, potassium, calcium and glucose, Electrolit provides complete hydration when electrolytes and ions are low to replenish the body,” the company said, adding that in addition to 7-Eleven, its products are available at Laval, Quebec-based Circle K stores as well as Walmart, Kroger and H-E-B.

Based in Irving, Texas, 7-Eleven Inc. operates, franchises or licenses more than 83,000 convenience stores in 19 countries and regions, including more than 13,000 7-Eleven convenience stores in the United States and Canada. In addition to 7-Eleven c-stores, the company operates and franchises Speedway and Stripes c-stores and the Laredo Taco Company, Speedy Cafe and Raise the Roost Chicken and Biscuits restaurant brands.

Electrolit manufactures a scientifically formulated premium hydration beverage that replenishes the body after physical activity, intense heat or a night of partying. Founded in Mexico in 1950, Electrolit is consumed by athletes and partygoers alike as a recovery drink.
