DES MOINES, Iowa -- Bebida Beverage Co. (BeBevCo), maker of relaxation and energy drinks, said that it will offer a free six pack of Koma Unwind relaxation drink, regular or sugar free, to any Iowan suffering from post-election cycle stress and anxiety disorder (SAAD). Those interested only need to pay shipping and handling (U.S. mail $10.50). The Koma unwind product is not yet mass marketed in Iowa so this is a step to help Iowans recover and get ready for fall elections.
"It is unfortunate Iowans don't yet have a Koma Unwind solution for their stress and anxiety problems, but we are here to help," offered CEO Brian Weber. "With months and months of TV commercials from political candidates and the whole nation watching, I can imagine everyone has had enough. A six-day supply of Koma Unwind relaxation drink should help get them back to normal."
In other company news, BeBevCo in December began its involvement with Chris Lafferty Motorsports TV, which airs on Fox Sports Networks. The program features multiple Koma Unwind product commercial spots as well title credits. The 26-week programming will have more than 50 broadcasts.
"When you are a growing company that is constantly seeking marketing opportunities, it is hard to pass on something like this," said Weber. "I have known Chris for several years from the NASCAR community and he actually drove The KOMA Unwind Relaxation drink NASCAR Camping World truck series entry we had in 2010 at the Kentucky Speedway event.
He added, "I am a part time NASCAR driver/beverage CEO and developer and he is a part time driver/TV show star and producer. There is a lot of B2B work and relationships that occur behind the scenes in the racing garage.
Said BeBevCo COO Daisy Ramirez: "This first introduction of our product on a national TV series is just a perfect example of how we growing our brands organically. I have little doubt we will continue making big strides in consumer awareness for Koma Unwind."
