After a short run as Coca-Cola’s newest “permanent” flavor, the beverage company is pulling the plug on Coca-Cola Spiced. The carbonated soft drink, which was branded as being “raspberry spiced Coke and other natural flavors,” launched in February.

At the time, Coca-Cola said it was its first time in more than three years that it was adding a new permanent beverage to its North American portfolio.

“We're always looking at what our consumers like and adjusting our range of products. As part of this strategy, we're planning to phase out Coca-Cola Spiced to introduce an exciting new flavor in 2025,” a Coca-Cola Co. spokesperson told CSP Daily News

Coca-Cola Spiced also came in a Zero Sugar blend. The drinks came in 12-ounce sleek cans, 10-pack mini cans, 20-ounce bottles, half-liter six-packs and 2-liter bottles. Spiced was a direct response to category trends and consumer demand, with a 124% increase in consumer willingness to try spice in beverages since 2019 and a 25% increase of interest in raspberry soft drinks over the last four years, Coke said at the time of the drink’s launch.

Coca-Cola has been experimenting with flavors targeting younger generations through its Coca-Cola Creations line of limited time offers (LTOs). Creations included Coca-Cola Move, Coca-Cola Starlight, Coca-Cola Dreamworld and more.
