High Noon is recalling two production lots of its Beach Variety pack vodka seltzers because some of the cans are mislabeled as Celsius energy drinks, the Modesto, California-based company said in a statement.

The canned cocktail maker said that some of the 12-ounce cans in the 12-pack are mislabeled as Celsius Astro Vibe Energy Drink and Sparkling Blue Razz Edition with a silver top but are filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol.

The affected High Noon Beach Variety 12-packs were shipped to distributors in Florida, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin. Distributors shipped product to retailers in Florida, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Virginia and Wisconsin from July 21 to July 23.

The recall notice, posted on the FDA’s website, said it was initiated after High Noon discovered that a shared packaging supplier mistakenly shipped empty Celsius cans to High Noon.

No illnesses or adverse events have been reported for this recall to date, the company reported.

High Noon is made by Modesto, California-based wine and spirits maker Gallo.
