CORONA, Calif. -- Monster Energy has added a new flavor to its Java Monster line of coffee-based drinks. Salted Caramel Java Monster is a noncarbonated hybrid coffee/energy drink featuring a blend of rich caramel with a sprinkle of salt. The product features a sweet and savory salted caramel flavor brewed with premium coffee and a smooth cream blend, supercharged with the proprietary Monster Energy blend.
Regarded as the third-most-desired flavor by consumers, following chocolate and vanilla, the new Java Salted Caramel complements Java Monster’s diverse product line by delivering premium coffee/energy drinks with half the caffeine of regular coffee and twice the buzz, according to the Corona, Calif.-based company.
“Salted caramel continues to grow in popularity as a consumer favorite appealing to a broad demographic, and we are excited to add this can to our Java Monster lineup,” said Geoff Bremmer, Monster Energy's vice president of marketing.
Java Monster Salted Caramel hits shelves nationwide in mid-February in 15.5-ounce cans. This marks the company’s sixth flavor in the Java family, joining Mean Bean, Loca Moca, Kona Blend, Vanilla Light and Irish Blend.
