BURLINGTON, Mass., and PLANO, Texas — Keurig Dr Pepper (KDP) is finding innovative ways to meet rising demand and is taking care of its employees and community during the coronavirus pandemic, according to a letter from Chairman and CEO Robert Gamgort.

KDP is continuing to serve retail customers, including mass merchandisers, grocery stores, club stores, convenience stores and more as consumers seek out the company’s brands, Gamgort said

“I am immensely proud of our own front-line employees who are working selflessly to manufacture, distribute and stock store shelves with the essential goods our communities need,” Gamgort said, after thanking nurses, doctors, grocery store cashiers and delivery drivers.

The Burlington, Mass., and Plano, Texas-based beverage company is taking additional steps to keep employees safe from the spread of COVID-19. These steps include:

  • Implementing enhanced sanitation protocols across all facilities.
  • Introducing health screenings for employees when they report to work.
  • Instituting guidelines to keep on-site employees separated while working in its facilities.
  • Implementing detailed protocols for managers if an employee becomes sick.
  • Directing office employees to work from home.
  • Providing financial incentives and enhanced paid sick time.
  • Keeping its employees employed.

KDP is also giving back to its community and has ramped up its efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company is donating Keurig brewers, coffee and other beverages to hospitals in Boston and Dallas, as well as other hard-hit communities and hospitals in need.

KDP's brands include Green Mountain, Peet’s Coffee, Forto, De Pepper, 7-UP, Canada Dry, Bai, Vita Coco, Hawaiian Punch and more.
