DES MOINES, Iowa —Kum & Go and Budweiser are teaming up to sell limited-edition T-shirts and tank tops.

All proceeds from the sales will go toward Folds of Honor to provide scholarships to families of fallen and disabled soldiers.

“This partnership is about celebrating our country, with two iconic American brands creating a fun way to support our veterans,” Kum & Go President Tanner Krause said.

This is the first merchandise collaboration between the Des Moines, Iowa-based convenience-store chain and Budweiser. The T-shirt and tank feature the saying “Kum & Go Drink a Budweiser” in red, white and blue. Merchandise will be available online while supplies last.

The clothing is part of a bigger summer campaign in partnership with Budweiser’s parent company Anheuser-Busch, St. Louis. A-B will donate $1 to Folds of Honor for every case of Budweiser sold at Kum & Go during the campaign. Folds of Honor will provide scholarships in September to two people.

Folds of Honor is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 to provide scholarships to families of military men and women who have died or been disabled in combat. Since its incorporation, it has awarded more than 12,500 scholarships in all 50 states, as well as Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.

Kum & Go, which has nearly 400 stores, has long been dedicated to the communities it serves, sharing 10% of its profits with charitable causes. The retailer is No. 18 on CSP's 2020 Top 202 ranking of c-store chains by number of retail outlets.
